Web hosting, answered
Will my price go up when I renew?
No. We don't use introductory pricing. The price on the plan is what you pay at signup and at every renewal. If we ever change our list prices, existing accounts keep the price they signed up at.
Which control panel do I get, and why isn't it cPanel?
You get Webuzo, which looks and works much like cPanel, with the same file manager, email, DNS, database and SSL tools in roughly the same places. It also includes features stock cPanel doesn't, such as WordPress staging and PostgreSQL. And because it doesn't carry cPanel's per-account licence fee, we can keep our prices lower.
Can I move my existing site over?
Yes. Free migration is included on every plan. Send us the login for your current host and we'll move your files, databases, mailboxes, DNS, SSL and cron jobs. You get a test URL to check everything before you point your domain.
Which billing cycles can I choose?
Checkout shows every currently available cycle for each plan. The entry price shown here is $12/yr and is billed yearly.
What are the resource limits?
Websites, storage and bandwidth are listed in the table above. The Business plan has a higher resource allocation than the other plans. We don't currently publish per-plan PHP worker and memory limits, but support can give you the exact figures for your plan.
What does 'unlimited bandwidth' mean?
There's no metered transfer cap on shared hosting. Normal website traffic isn't counted, throttled or billed as overage.
Do I get email with my hosting?
Yes. Every plan includes unlimited mailboxes on your domain, with webmail, IMAP/SMTP and spam filtering. If you'd prefer a dedicated email platform with its own storage, see our email hosting.
Where are your servers?
We have servers in the United States and the European Union. You choose the location when you sign up, so you can host your site close to your visitors.
Who answers support tickets?
Our technical support team, 24/7. Tickets go directly to the people who manage the servers, so there's no first-line script and no escalation queue.
What happens to my data if I leave?
You can download a full backup from the control panel at any time. There are no cancellation fees, and nothing stops you from moving to another host.
What if I outgrow shared hosting?
You can upgrade to a larger plan in place, or move to a VPS when you need root access and dedicated resources. We'll help with that migration too.
